"Hi Gala:  Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how things are going.  We had a great trip down to get Teddy(the boys have renamed him Teddy).  He was an absolute dream in the car.  After picking him up we headed up HWY 5 to Mountain Home and then on to West Plains,Mo and stayed the night.  He slept the night in the pet carrier that we brought along.  We all got a good chance to bond with him on our trip.  Most everyone that we talk to thinks we are nuts for driving all that way for a puppy but we wouldn't want it any other way now that he is home with us.  He is so adorable and is getting along well with his brother(the cat).  His house training is going remarkably well.  He yelps when he needs to go out.  He went for a swim in the pool yesterday and had a bath afterwards.  He went to the vets last Monday and had a good checkup..." "...We are cage training him and he is starting to get use to it.  When he gets tired at night, he walks over to his cage and climbs in.  He has a nice comfortable doggy bed in there with all his stuffed animals.  We just close the door and he sleeps through until the next morning.  He loves going in the car to pick the boys up from school even though they only have 2 days left until summer break.  He is really bonding with Marcy.  He is her little baby.  We will send pictures as soon as we download them off the camera.  Hope you guys had a good trip to Louisiana."                                     - Paul and Marcy (June 26, 2010)
