GB Kennel Registered Dogs Deposit Receipt & Holding Agreement This document represents an agreement to purchase between GB Kennel, hereafter referred to as the BREEDER, and the BUYER. Breeder has received from the Buyer a non-refundable deposit of $_____ which is applied to the purchase price of $__________, the BREEDER assigns the BUYER the right to acquire a GB Kennel puppy as described below, guaranteeing that the puppy will remain on hold for the BUYER until the time arranged between the BREEDER and BUYER to pick up or take possession of their puppy (which is normally between the age of 8 and 10 weeks). This document is a binding agreement, and part of the purchase contract agreement between the BREEDER and the BUYER – the contract sales agreement document will be ready with complete information - The dates that shots, and worming’s were done along with any other important information specific to the puppy purchased. A copy of the Deposit Receipt is being mailed to the BUYER. Shipping Fee if applicable_________________ Balance Due (less deposit)_______________ Final payment may be made by CASH or CHECK issued to Gala Davis 10 days prior to shipping date. GB Kennel does not accept credit cards, credit card checks. We can issue an invoice through PayPal for electronic payment – if this method is used then the BUYER is also responsible to cover the fee issued by PayPal. BREED: _____________________________________ PRE-BIRTH DEPOSIT* or SPECIFIC REQUEST OF BIRTH FULL REGISTRATION or LIMITED REGISTRATION Explanation of our Pre-birth deposit policy - We have a system in place to keep you the customer informed at all times, and we will make every possible attempt to honor the color, gender being requested. It is important to keep in mind that there is no guarantee that a specific color, pattern or coat type will be produced by a specific pairing - only a genetic probability that we list with pairings considering the background of the parents, and also past litters born to parents. We will offer a customer making a deposit the choice for a puppy in the date order that deposits are received. Should the coat, color or pattern not be available, then the deposit is held over to the next litter ...and will continue so forth until the customer's is able to have the specific type of puppy that they are looking for. Our waiting list is a record keeping system maintained with this document, and the date noted on the document as the deposit received date. Our copy of the document is maintained in our files for making decisions as to the order with which choices are given. Please note that we will notify deposit holders in all cases that a pending litter will have First Choice Puppy going to the Breeder. The BREEDER does not issue refunds. The BREEDER will provide another puppy similar in appearance and value should there be any health issue which would warrant the original puppy choice not able to be transferred to the BUYER. The funds made for deposit never expire until the BUYER receives a puppy from the BREEDER. The BREEDER reserves the right to cancel this agreement if there is any health, safety or situation for which the BREEDER feels the puppy would not be placed in a proper home environment – in this instance only would any amount over the deposit be returned to the BUYER.
